California Still in Drought after “Storms”

California may have received some rain recently but it still doesn’t mean anything significant in terms of our drought. There’s still a lot of rain that needs to be had this year and our current forecast seems to be looking only towards warmer weather with not a lot of cloud cover.

Of course what this means is that with our continued drought there’s an increase chance of fires. Hot, plus dry weather is a perfect equation for disastrous fires.

As you can see from the image above the whole state is in extreme need of water. The southern to mid coast is obviously having the hardest time with the lack of rain being marked as experiencing “exceptional drought”.
