Your RV is a home away from home, and it needs to be protected from theft just as a house would.
Lock your RV door and close the roof vents and windows if leaving. Close curtains and leave a radio or lights on with a timer.
Never leave your ignition keys, valuables, or original registration in your RV. Keep a separate record of the VIN, make and model.
Put away outside tables and chairs, or secure them with a cable and padlock, if leaving your RV site.
Keep photos of your RV and everything kept inside. In case of a theft, notify law enforcement and your insurance company right away.
