When riding a motorcycle in slippery conditions reduce your speed, apply both brakes slowly and consistently, maintain gradual and deliberate movements to keep the bike steady, ride where you’re most likely to be seen, and avoid the center of the lane and sides where oil and slippery substances tend to build up.
When riding a motorcycle in strong winds stay on the side of the lane that gives you the most room to maneuver, keep your distance from other cars as well as the side and center line of the road, grip handles and firmly plant your feet on the pegs while keeping arms flexible, steer into the wind when possible and watch for debris that may blow into your path.
